When I was young, I grew up with my cousin. He is three years older than me and was born in Inchon. Now his hair is cut short, and he wears glasses. He is three inches taller than me. He's a good-looking man and has good manners. But his appearance is a little strange, so he doesn't have a girlfriend. So I would like to introduce him to a great girl I know. He always studies all subjects, but studies English especially hard. He graduated from Inchon University and majored in Electronics. He has had a lot of influence on my life, so I would like to write about several ways he influenced me.
        First of all, he gave me much sociability to make friends. He had many good friends. He was sociable and kept good company. When I met my cousin, he always introduced me to many girls. My personality was different from his, so I didn't have many friends. I learned his character, so I have had many good friends. He gave me much confidence to make friends.
        Second, he always was full of self-confidence in his life. He studied abroad in England two years ago. Recently, he came back to Korea. He seems much more mature now than in the old days. He also seems to have increased his ability in English. He met a Swiss friend who was also studying abroad in England. He used to go skiing with this friend. Nowadays, when I visit my cousin's home, I see him calling his friends. When I see that situation I feel his confidence, and I am surprised at the fluency with which he speaks English. I envy him again, and I feel English is very important in my life.
        Third, he has much knowledge about movies. Especially, he likes erotic movies and historical movies. I went to an erotic movie with him for the first time. At that time I was seventeen years old. The title of the movie we saw was The Woman Who Loves a Horse. The movie shocked me because it included about sexual expression, and I ran out of the theater. After that event happened, he showed me many excellent movies, historical movie and action movies, every week. So I have good taste in movies.
        I have been affected very much by my cousin. From high school, he not only helped me with studying but also gave instructions to me in many things: sports, dance, billiards, bowling, etc. He speaks English very well. Though I am behind him now, I will have much greater ability in English than he. Possibly because of my cousin, I am studying English literature now. When I am confronted with difficulties in my life, I remember him telling me, "In Everything, do your best." Also he told me, "Give it your best shot, so you will have no regrets no matter how it turns out." He is a great help to me. I have courage to solve my many problems. I think that he has been a very great teacher in my life.
