Cho Seung-Pyo ("Joseph").　 Let me tell you about Cho Sueng-Pyo. He is small and old compared with other students. He is not handsome, either. However, he is famous in Dongdu-chun and Daejin University. Why? There are a lot of reasons. He is a good leader, especially at a picnic and an important meeting. He never forces people around him to do something for his personal profit. He is very considerate of people and loves to get along with other people. That makes him drink soju like a fish and play billiards like an artist. In addition, he is very enthusiastic. If he has something to do whatever it is, he does his best. If you think this is all about him, you will miss something. He is fond of solitude, too. So he can understand other people's problems and then he is a good counselor. If you want to know him more, you may need to meet him. That will be a wonderful chance to get to know him better. In the future, he will run his own business. Choi Jae Hoon ("Julia").　 Her name is Choi Jae Hoon. She hates dirty things most of all. For example, she hates a dirty man, dirty room and so on. She is obsesssed with being clean. So she likes to clean the bathroom, and it is her hobby. Her room is very clean. Also her image is like white. Kim Sang-Hyun.　 I would like to tell you about Kim Sang-Hyun. He doesn't have a girlfriend yet. Therefore, to make a girlfriend is his greatest concern now. He likes woman's inner beauty more than outer appearance. He studies like a maniac. I like his passion about studying. He hates drinking, especially soju. He's allergic to soju. But, he likes the atmosphere of conversation during drinking. His principle of life is honesty. He's really an honest man and brave to the injustice. He is short but it's just his body. Kim Tae Hee ("Swany").　 Swany is small and pretty. When she talks with someone, she continuously gives an interesting talk to a person. She always laughs loudly. Her laugh is attractive and we know her easily with her laugh. She likes to read poems and to see the sea. She expects we will make a school excursion to the sea. If we do that, as she is walking on the beach, she will read poems. She wants to be tall. Though she drinks a glass of milk every day, she is not tall. But she will try to be tall until thirty years old. Though she has a small frame, she gives us great pleasure.　 (By Song Hyang Ok)

Kwak Mi Suk ("Ell").　 She wants to be a soldier. Her dream is peculiar. So, she studies and exercises. Her hobby is taekwondo. During summer vacation, she learned taekwondo and earned the first grade license of taekwondo. Now she does not keep up with the exercise. Soon, she will go to a gymnasium. She stayed in a dormitory last semester, but now she has moved out of the dormitory, because she's not satisfied and comfortable. I know that a dormitory is a little lonely place. She goes home at 8 o'clock. After she finishes class, she goes to the library. So, she goes home late. She doesn't have a part time job now. But she'll have one in winter vacation. So, first, she's going to go abroad. She thinks that our country is not suitable for English education. And then she's going to a driving school. She'll buy a red or silver Matiz. Kwon Young-Ro.　 Young-Ro is a passionate man. He'd like to be a business management professor. So he strives to accomplish his dream. He gathers many kinds of information as well as studies hard. So he is often found in the library, and his eyes burn with studies. Actually, he is a scholar. This is a natural result. I respect him as a senior, but sometimes I'm afraid of someone such as him. He'll certainly realize his dream because he is sincere and passionate. However he does not only study. He said that he likes to drink far into the night. But I don't believe it. So far as I know, he doesn't drink that well, but he makes other people drink. Also he has a girlfriend that he loves deeply. Though his girlfriend works in An-san, he sees her home. Lee Sang-myung ("Johann").　 I guess you may not think of him as a person who enjoys modern living--going to movies, singing songs, killing time with a girlfriend--only from his appearance. Don't misunderstand. It is just for fun. Remember the old saying, "Don't judge people from appearances." To tell the truth, he is sure a whizz at getting along with anybody with humorous jokes. He is so kind and nice that you can get a chance to be more close with him. And he is an ordinary friend. It will probably be one of his strong points. Sometimes, because our talks are light jokes, the time together leads us away from serious problems. Oh Ju-Mun ("Joel").　 Oh Ju-Mun is usually called "Joel" in English class. She was born in Uijungbu and lives there now. Her major is English Language and Literature, and she loves pop songs. Her favorite pop song is "Because You Loved Me," and she sings very well. She has loved pop songs since she was a middle school student because of her English teacher then. She respects that English teacher the most. Her hobby is gum-do. What you should remember is she is good at gum-do. So I am considering whether to employ her as my bodyguard or not. Oh Ki-Taek.　 Who is he? He is a little fat and having a drink is his best friend. Every day he drinks to close his eyes in bed. But he is very humorous. If you are with him you will smile all day long. His every word makes people's hearts soft. He wants to be a public servant in the future. I have got the same opinion like him about his future job, because he is kind to everyone he knows all the time. I have no doubt that he is a suitable man for a public servant. In addition, he has an unexpected side to his character. When I asked him, "What would you like to change about the world?" He said, "I want Sin Chang-Won, who is an escaped prisoner, to be captured." There is a black humor in his smile. Park Ji-Hee ("Alice").　 If people see her with a brisk step, they'll easily know that she is a positive and active person. She has had a part-time job during the school term not to speak of vacation since she entered the university. Nowadays, she works in our university on weekdays, and she teaches two middle school students on the weekend. In addition, she was chosen a captain of the fourth dormitory, so she is busy more and more. She takes a train every Sunday to meet her boyfriend, Dong-kuk, who joined the army. He is in Dongduchun near Pochun, so she goes there very often. Maybe, Sunday is the long-awaited day to her. Her dream is to be an English teacher, so she plans to enter a graduate school. Park Ji Hye ("Christy").　 Ji Hye resembles a koala so much. She is roundish and lovely. She is as warm-minded as her apperance. Although we aren't close to each other, I can talk with her comfortably. She has something in common with me. The person who we admire is alike. She admires her father most in the world like I do. She likes to cook. Especially, she cooks tang-su-yook, mandoo, and don-gga-ss very well. Of course, she likes to eat, too. She wants to study design after she graduates from this school. Especially, she wants to do stationery design. Design will be apt for her, I think. The reason I think is because she is looks calm and feminine. I hope that she will succeed in design. Seo Sang-hoon ("Daniel").　 How do you know about Seo Sang-hoon? I know a little about him. His job desired in the future is statesman. It's very wonderful! I envy him because it is good that anyone has a special thing which he really desires. It seems that his positive and active character resembles the general characteristics of his future job--diginity and confidence. And he always defends his opinion like a man in class. His merit will be helpful in the future. He likes the actor, Daniel, in the movie, The Last of the Mohicans. The character is very bold like him. And sometimes, he is very cute. Song Hyang Ok.　 I think that she is so cute. Especally, when she smiles she seems to be a baby. But she has a complex whenever she laughs. That is her teeth. She has an irregular set of teeth. So when somebody says something about her teeth, she hates such people's words. So she wants to straighten her teeth later. Yun Hye Young ("Young").　 Yun Hye Young is not only a lady but also an intelligent girl. She knows how to care for people. She has fallen in love with her boyfriend who has joined the military. She writes letters to him twice a week. She will also love him until he is discharged from military service. She has much interest in computers. Last summer vacation, she made an e-mail address, fate_hy@hanmail.net, which was free of charge. She likes to navigate the internet. She looks for movie posters such as X Files, Gone with the Wind and Mullan. She gets a lot of information about her homework.
