I don't know exactly what is the best method for learning and teaching foreign language. Many people who write language books claim their opinion is right. For example, someone claims that the best way to learn English is just to memorize vocabulary, another person claims that grammar or pronunciation is very important, etc. So I don't know what is right.
        We have learned English for a long time, but we have memorized grammar and vocabulary for exams and entering a college. In fact, grammar and vocabulary is important for learning English. But many students lose interest, so they think that English is very difficult and boring and then they easily give up  learning it.
        When I was a middle school student, I wasn't interested in learning English, so I don't have a memorable teacher. Surely, at that time I just memorized vocabulary and grammar like other students. So I was not interested in learning English. But when I was a high school student, I became interested in English, because my English teacher made it interesting. She sang a pop song for us whenever we were bored, and she translated the words of the pop song.
        I think that good teachers make students interested. And if teachers can't give interest to students, students lose interest in learning no matter how hard they teach. Also, I think that besides good teachers, learners need to be good, too. Learners should always be diligent and study every day, even though it's just ten minutes. They also should be stick to the regulations. For example, they shouldn't be late for their class, and they should hand in homework on time. The important matter is learners should have respect for teachers and observe politeness. I think teachers and learners should harmonize, and then they will be good teachers and good learners.
